Continental Motors Services United Turbine Announces Increased Warranties and Services

Oshkosh, WI, United States, July 26, 2016 – United Turbine, a Continental Motors Services company, announced today new warranty terms and new services. United Turbine offers an unprecedented 7 (seven) year warranty (or manufacturer’s TBO, whichever occurs first) on Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 turbine overhauls performed by United Turbine. As part of its customer satisfaction initiative, United Turbine also announced it had launched a loaner/lease program on selected PT-6 models.

“Our warranty program is unique in the industry. With more than twenty-five years’ of history, where we have exclusively worked on PT6 and PT6T Twin-Pac overhauls, repairs and parts distribution, we have acquired a wealth of experience. This translates into the highest quality overhauls. It also allows United Turbine to offer a warranty program on PT6 overhauls that is, industry-wide, second to none. We offer a seven (7) year or manufacturer’s TBO (whichever comes first) on our PT6 overhauls. This is, by far, the best warranty available in the industry. For our clients, it means peace of mind and the ability to concentrate on operational matters.” Said DJ Davant, General Manager, United Turbine.

“We also offer, on selected models of PT6, a loaner/lease program, allowing our customers to continue to fly while we perform the overhaul of their engine. We even have some loaners available for fleet operators who work regularly with us. Our turnaround times are among the best in the industry because we understand the needs of our clients. A plane or helicopter that is not flying means lost revenue or business meetings that don’t happen. Continental’s United Turbine is committed to reducing the lead times on overhauls, repairs, and parts shipments while providing the highest workmanship possible,” he added.

Based in Medley, FL, 7 miles from Miami International Airport, United Turbine works on a global scale, having clients in the USA, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. The company has received FAR-145 certification from the FAA, PART-145 from EASA and is the holder of certifications from the National Aviation Authorities of the Seychelles. People Republic of China CAAC certification is currently undergoing.
