Continental Aerospace Technologies™ has developed the Aviation Technician Advanced Training Program for aviation technicians. The program can be followed for AvGas as well as Jet-A (Diesel) piston engines. The AvGas program is held in Mobile, AL (USA) and the Jet-A program is held in both Mobile (USA) and St. Egidien (Germany).
We train FBO and mechanics to service our Continental® Jet-A engines at Mobile, AL (USA) and St. Egidien (Germany).
The main purpose of this seminar is to familiarize and train inspectors, certifying staff and mechanics to perform regular maintenance and diagnoses on Continental® Jet-A engines. Additionally, you will gain special skills for efficient fault isolation procedures as well as quick and safe diagnoses. This is required to become an authorized Continental® Jet-A maintenance organization according to the Service Bulletin “TM TAE 000-0003”.
The main purpose of this course is to provide technicians, mechanics, and maintenance personnel with a solid foundation in Continental® Avgas piston engines. This course helps participants understand engine design, construction, and operation while teaching standard maintenance procedures and best practices. It covers key engine systems and gives attendees a thorough understanding of all the engine components. By the end of the course, technicians are prepared to perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and basic repairs, ensuring safe and efficient engine operation and readying them for more advanced training levels.
The main purpose of this course is to build on Level 1 by teaching advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance techniques. All participants will gain hands-on experience of disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling the engine while learning to solve complex engine problems. This training equips participants to handle difficult repairs and keep engines running at optimal performance.
These are our current class offerings. Please select which class you would like to attend and contact Customer Service to register for class.
